Bright and exciting blood-orange bison hide is one of the exciting features of this journal! It feel so wonderful in the hands, and the whole journal has a "squeezability" factor that makes you want to hug it all the time. The quote on the metal plate is one of my new favorites: "Alas for those who never sing but die with all their music inside them." I came upon this quote by happenstance, as it was engraved in a sidewalk upon which I was walking. I had to make this piece because of that!
