This is a very unique journal for several reasons. First, this green, pebbly-textured leather is all used up now in my studio, and I'm not sure if or when I'll be getting any more like it! Second, I cut this slice of leather so that the branding on the hide ended up centered on the front of this journal. (Doesn't it kinda look like a heart with an arrow?) And third, I used a new tip on my wood-burning tool that looks like a target, and I burned a whole bunch of targets on the strap that goes around the journal and cinches. Ok, one more reason why it's unique...the pages alternate between handmade paper and watercolor paper so that you widen your options of uses for the journal! Sketch book, writing journal, art journal, photo album, portfolio, or any other heirloom-quality keepsake you can think of!
