This exciting teal-blue leather has a wonderful pebbly texture and incredibly beautiful natural edges that are featured along the top of this tome. On the cover is an etched copper plate with a quote that gives me the goose bumps every time I read it, and the antiqued bronze latch makes it fun and mysterious to open and close. The skeleton key is attached with riveted brass wires and will not come loose. This tome is bound with 100% cotton rag handmade paper that is of a cream color and features scattered jute fibers throughout. It is my hope that this journal be used to the user's delight and that it becomes a treasured heirloom for many millennia to come!
