This is a dark leather with a reddish undertone and it feels very satisfying to the touch. The russet suede behind the 2 rivets on the front reinforce this red whisper and adds to the general aesthetic and appeal of this journal. And who doesn't love a panda?! It's one of my favorite animals to view at zoos, and the one I saw in San Diego last year was super cool as it walked straight towards me on a tree limb, eyes locked!
