My "Second" Studio is up and running!

After the Des Moines Arts Festival, I returned to Columbus, Ohio to see my boyfriend, Shane, and to see his NEW HOME!  He bought a brand new condo in beautiful downtown Columbus, and lemme tell ya--it's swanky!  Super tall ceilings, lots of windows, 4-panel sliding glass doors that open onto a 200 sq.ft. balcony, and the master bathroom is...well...no short of a dream!  Plus, they are building another structure right next door, so it's nice to witness the construction being done for educational purposes!  You know, for when I build MY new home next year!

Shane was kind enough to offer me the spare bedroom as a studio space for when I'm in town!  After all, I *am* a traveler, and my shows *do* bring me around the midwest frequently enough for this idea to make total sense!  So, before I moved out to Arizona in April this year, I left behind enough materials and any duplicate or extra tool I'd need to have a fully-functioning, operational studio. (This was how I was able to pull off the Trekker Sale over this past weekend!)

And I'm gonna share with you a little internal language that is going on around here...I have decided to nickname my 2 current studios, as to avoid confusion when talking about plans and travels.  I have lovingly nicknamed my place in Arizona as the "Tempe Town Lake House" and the second one in Columbus as "The She-Shed at Chez Shane"! Hahahaha!

Heading off to drive back to my Tempe Town Lake House tomorrow (Tuesday 7/13), and it's a 3-day drive!  Gonna jam out to my tunes and enjoy the ride...and upon arrival, I will be getting back to work to prepare for my ROCKY MOUNTAIN TOUR!
