Show Schedule
I am grateful as ever that the era of the coronavirus is coming to a close and we can all get back to a new normal very, very soon. I am fully vaccinated and ready to go and tour the country to see your smiling faces and to show you my latest creations….As an extroverted nomad, I know I’ll feel incredibly happy to be out and about, doing what I love—doing exactly what fulfills my soul and spirit!
“The Comeback is Always Stronger than the Setback!”
In early June, I’ll head back to Columbus, Ohio, and set up my secondary studio in my boyfriend’s new condo. He is so very kind to offer me the spare bedroom as a workspace, and this will be a new step in our relationship as well. We have never lived together, and starting this June, we will have 2 months of shacking up and learning how to commingle our schedules! At the end of June, I’ll kick off my show season with the Des Moines Arts Festival—quite and excellent show!
After that show, I’ll return to Columbus and keep working in my secondary studio at “Chez Shane”, as I’m calling it, and won’t head out again until the end of July. From then on out it gets crazy—check this out:
I’ll head out to do 3 shows in a row: Crested Butte, Colorado, then Bozeman, Montana (hopefully…they have yet to jury), and then Sun Valley, Idaho! After an excellent summer tour in the Rockies, I’ll head back down to my new home and studio here in Tempe…but only for a couple of weeks. I’ll head out again for SIX shows in a row…all back-to-back.
Starting with a trip to Oklahoma City, I’ll head there to do the Paseo Arts Festival and then drive west to Colorado and do Castle Rock one weekend and then the Denver Arts Festival the following. After Denver, I’ll drive on out to Memphis and do the Pink Palace Crafts Fair, then head up to Louisville for the St. James Art Show, and end the entire 6-show tour with Tennessee Craft in Nashville…which brings us to mid-October, phew!
A couple of weeks later, in early November, I’ll run down and do the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival in Pensacola, followed by the Covington Three Rivers Arts Festival in Louisiana. After those two shows, I’ll head back to Tempe and get ready for the Holiday Season online…BUT! There is one more show to do…my new local show…the Tempe Festival of Art during the first weekend in December.
It’s gonna be busy for me during the latter half of this year, but baby—I’m ready, willing and able! Well, we’ll see about ready…I have a lot of books to make!
