There are many applications for "Clear Gesso," and this TidBit shows you how it has sealing abilities as well as adhesive qualities. Magazine clippings are mounted onto the art journal page using this clear gesso, and then watercolors and inks are used over top of the dried layer of gesso to provide spectacular color and design. Try it yourself! And don't forget...you can always apply a layer of clear gesso on top of ANY paper to provide a barrier between your wet media and the paper itself.
