January Newsletter
You made it!
I want to be one of the first to wish you a happy, refreshing New Year, and may your 2021 be filled with much success and an abundance of love and happiness. You have endured quite a year, my friend, and I congratulate you for holding your head high while facing a myriad of challenges head-on, all while maintaining your tune into your self awareness, spiritual balance, and overall well-being. Not only did you do all that, but you also cared for your loved ones and even strangers, and you did it with the grace and kindness of your big, human heart.
I have many things to share with you in this, my very FIRST monthly Newsletter! I hope you enjoy what I'm bringing to your mind and attention today, all of which I find very exciting and creatively stimulating! As you feast your eyes below, you will find community inspiration, Mind's Eye information, and an extra goodie I have in my plans for YOU!
Be Well & Be Journaling,
Teresa
#mejnation
Featuring journal pages from your
Mind's Eye Journals community!
On social media, lots of different members of this lovely Mind's Eye Journals community have been sharing pictures of their art journal pages! Very few show pictures of their pages with their written word, and I understand why....journals are very personal and some may feel the need to keep their words to themselves. Those of you who have chosen to share your musings with your art supplies, thank you! I am glad you're willing to share it with the community.
Below is a watercolor from Chris of Florida. She says she loves to paint pictures of books and libraries and anything of art and/or antiquity. I am so pleased that she shared with me her works...the image at the top of this email is one of her originals, and the one below is another! And by the way, if you like her style and would want something painted just for YOU, find her on Instagram @mcwaterschris or HERE on Facebook. She offers stationery, note cards, post cards, matted formats and more and would love nothing more than to hear from you!
Also in this #mejnation feature are four more of my favorites from this past year. Below are images from 4 different Mind's Eye journalers, and they are delighted to share these with you!
If YOU'D like to share for future newsletters, please feel free to reply to this email, message me on social media, or post on social media with the hashtag #mejnation and I will be delighted to help you inspire others in this lovely community :)
ARIZONA
A "workation" in the desert!
Back on Christmas Day, I flew to Arizona and brought my pens and highlighters, my calculators and calendars, my journals and paints, and I came with GOALS! I've been working on spelling out my plans, both personally and professionally, for this New Year, and I wanted to soak up some vitamin D before the cold, grey winter of Ohio starts to get to me! I'm also planning to move to northern Arizona....or SOMEWHERE in the West...in the summer this year. I thought it'd be a good idea to visit here again....see how it feels nowadays and how it looks under this new lens. SO! Now that I've completed my goals for work over these past 6 days on this "workation", it's now time to PLAY and hike around with Shane!
This part of our country is absolutely beautiful. I feel very blessed and grateful to be here, and I'm already imagining what my life will be like once I've relocated to the high mountain desert. Shane, my lovely partner, will be making his arrangements to relocate with me...we just don't know if we'll be moving together at the same or at different times...but we are choreographing our schedules to see what particular plans we can make!
